Winter Sun

This is the card  I created for the Creating the Crafty Life's color challenge.  The challenge was to incorporate the winter sun colors (greys, muted yellows, pinks, light purples).  This is what I came up with using the challenge colors.

Lil Luca

The stamped image is a Tickled Pink Stamp, Lil Luca, I got from the All That Scraps website and the sentiment came from Tim Holz's Heartfelt Stamp set.  The paper I used is from DCWV's Stardust paper stack.

Soft Romance

 I used A Gorjuss Girl stamp called The Pretend Friend, and paper from Prima' Soft Romance Collection to create this card.  I am entering this card in three challenges:

             Creating the Craft Life -Soft Romance color challenge,  and

             Catch the Bug Challenge - Tic Tac Toe  (red, paper piecing and ribbon)
             Papercraft Star Challenge - color red

Fairy Dust

I created this card using The Greeting Farm Stamp set called The Fairy Princess and paper from Three Bugs in a Rug, Elle.  I'm entering this card in The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday Challenge using buttons and Baker's Twine and Paper Playtime Challenge using border punches.

True Love

The Twisted Tuesday Blog is having a challenge to.....

"make something for a loving couple.  It can be an anniversary card, Valentine card, house warming creation, a scrap page or a happy couple, whatever you like....

Include the color black, preferably ribbon or lace, but anything black will do."

So, I choose to make a card using a wooden stamp called, "Greenville and Beatrice...True Love"

Valentine Treats

This is my entry for the Valentine Treats Challenge hosted by All That Scraps. The image is a CC Designs stamp, Latte Kiki. I had saved a Starbucks coffee cup and coffee sleeve and filled it with Hershey's kisses....I think I'll take it to work.....

Easter Wishes

I know it's still early for Easter, but I found this stamp at the local scrapbooking store and thought it would work well for the three challenges I'm entering in this week. The challenges are:

Papercraft Star Challenge #130 - Frames

This is the card I created for the Papercraft Star challenge. This challenge was to incorporate a frame in your creation. I painted a wooden frame with Dark Patina paint to match the card base and mounted it on paper from DCWV's Butterfly Garden Stack.

Christmas Card Challenge #9

The week's challenge was to incorporate the colors red, white and brown into the Christmas card. I used a Penny Black stamp called Santa's Hat and paper from Recollections. It's really nice to be able to use the items I bought for card making last year but I wasn't able to use. Thanks for looking!
