February Tag

This is my February tag of 2016 (Tim Holtz Blog) where we were to combine two of Tim Holtz'  techniques.  I decided to go with the Alice in Wonderland theme.......  Since I  didn't have any embossing paste, I had to improvise and use some texture paste with a sprinkle of magenta embossing powder. The image wasn't as crisp as I  had hoped, but I was okay with it...  :)

The stencil I used for the background was Tim Holtz Clockwork with vintage photo distress ink.  I ended up using a stencil called Mini Time Travel from The Crafters Workshop with the texture paste to create the clock faces.                                                                                                                                   I used distress markers to fill in the hearts on the white rabbit's shirt and his bow and a bubble stencil to create the blue bubbles coming out of the rabbit's horn.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               I had to include a quote from the Alice and Wonderland to complete the tag as well as some miscellaneous charms to jazz up the tag.     Thank you for looking   :)

Steampunk Emma

I used Emma, from Paper Nest dolls and a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday SSW2 to create this card.  I colored Emma with colored pencils....I'm trying to get the hang of them.  Copics seem easier, for some reason....Thank you for looking.

Girly

I made this card for two challenges:  MFT's Sketch Challenge #218 and Simon Says Special Lady/Girly challenge.  I used Greeting Farm's stamp, Anya Styles and paper from Prima's Zephyr collection.  Thank you for looking.

Brights

MarkerPop! Challenge #63: Bright Colors
